V-mount install advice

Hey guys, seeking some advice on a couple things with installing my v-mount.
First, the oil cooler lines seem to be getting in the way of the radiator fans, which I was not aware would happen from what I've read up on prior to starting this installation. I guess all of the installs I read about were on cars with factory single oil coolers. Is there a place where I can buy replacement braided oil cooler lines, or custom length lines that you guys would recommend? Where would you guys route these lines?

Thanks in advance!

The metal hard lines for the second oil cooler on R models gets in the way - I had the same problem with my Blitz front mount.

I documented a lot of it in my mini-mega build thread I did years back -

It's been a rock solid setup for me, no problems at all. You do end up spending a good amount on AN lines and fittings but it's way cheaper than a whole new oil cooler kit.

Hey Dale, where did you get the adapter with the 90 degree bend? I got one from a local shop, and its bulky and I don't know if it will be able to fit when I try to turn it when attaching it to the engine block. Also, you removed the oil return line at the point where it is attached around the bottom of the power steering rack, yes? Is that bolt okay to just remove and replace?

I did all that work years ago and don't remember where all I got everything besides what was in that thread.

Not sure what you mean on the oil return line.

Ah that’s alright. There’s a bolt that holds a clamp which secures the oil line to a point underneath the power steering bracket. It seems to be screwed into the engine block. I was just wondering if there was any concerns with simply removing that bolt and reinstalling it?

I don't think so. If you want to be sure take a picture of what you're talking about so we can see.

Hey Dale,

Here is the spot I am having trouble with. I can’t fit the adaptor and 90 degree hose end in this space. What did you do here?

You need a banjo to AN fitting instead of the straight metric to AN fitting you have there.

I've tried looking for one. Do you know where i can get an 18mm banjo to -10an? I can't seem to find anything anywhere online. The largest I've seen is -6an for brake lines.
