Question v lame Q (oil pressure sender unit)

Still hunting around my FD at the moment and learning lots, today my oil pressure unit has gone completely nuts

Just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of where the thing actually is?

Thanks!

Dave

It's just forward and under the oil filter. Looks like a metal mushroom growing out of the side of the block, with one wire connected to the "top" of the mushroom.

Real easy to see, BTW.

Cleaning can help, but the stock oil pressure senders are prone to failure. But, I would definitely give everything a good cleaning and see if that helps - can't hurt anything.
