Used rotor housings

Im kinda new with rotary's and im rebuilding one right now. My apex seals broke and so the engine is apart. I took the rotor housings to tri point but they told me the rotor housings are bad. They suggested that i get brand new rotor housings. THe problem is that new housings are 1250 nd i have no money. So i searched and didnt really find an answer but are used rotors generally a good buy? i know there are variability on different used rotors but in general, would a pretty good shape rotor housing still be good for use, or is it better to just get brand new ones? what im asking is, are used housings a better buy then new?

New is always better, but you can certainly use used rotor housing if you can find some good ones. Anything still within Mazda spec is reusuable.
