OK hold on. I've talked trash about Garfinkle's wheels before, but now I feel obligated to defend him. I've exchanged PM's with Garfinkle, and he gave very helpful advice with reasonable justifications, without spoon-feeding me information or doing all the research for me. I respect that a lot.
I'd bet that if he had a nice set of BBS wheels nobody would be criticizing ANY part of his car. I can also appreciate that the three-spokes look good in certain shots, and he chose them because they're a little reminiscent of a rotor.
But you can't honestly compare Garfinkle's car, with tons of detail-oriented hot-rod style mods performed over years by the original owner,
... to this one, whose owner just bought parts from catalogs, had them installed by someone else, and made sure to slap on "sponsor stickers" and some trendy lemming "painted JDM" wheels that don't match anything else on the car.
Your comments are always entertaining, but I've got to defend the guy with the funky wheels this time. David Garfinkle's probably been doing this as long as you have, and seems to be a hands-on guy just like you are. He offers helpful advice on these forums, too. I'd make a comment about him not blowing up as many rotaries as you have, but I don't want to go there. The tools and knowledge base to tune the rotary safely didn't really exist at the time that you blew your motors, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's actually blown up more motors than you have.

I really don't want this thread to devolve into a "my internet ***** is bigger than yours" mess. Jim, you've expressed your opinion and that's fine, but let's not beat a dead horse. You aren't going to convince anyone that your opinion is "right", because there's no such thing. On the other foot, everyone else can stop arguing with Jim, he's expressed an opinion, you've expressed yours. Let's move on. Thanks.
