Nice find! Never seen that one before. It's nice to see the Fd dominate with so few mods.

It needs the wing,

110L Tank what the ****. It reminds us these beasts DRINK! If I am not mistaken 80L tank on most race cars.

I think it's hideous but we know Mazda makes good race cars.

on most endurance race cars? keep in mind this car was designed for the 24hr race in australia, i dont know but i'd assume the other cars in this race probably had a tank of similar proportions, but again i have no idea...

Again, thats a car for a 24 hour race. I dont know about you but would you rather have a smaller tank and going into the pits for refueling every 3-4 laps or every 9-10 laps?

That is a nice car.... why would a race car have a sunroof?

It also appears to ride a bit high....

Interesting vented hood.
Any details on the "larger Intercooler". Was it just the Mazdaspeed one or something more aftermarketish?

One of the more complete explinations of the SP cars I've seen. These cars and Mazda Australia's dedication is comemorated by the later Bathurst Type R model, named for the race track they were used at.
