Looks like the Idle Control Valve plug, located on the back of the UIM, to the side of the TPS? Hard to tell from the pic, I'm just taking an educated guess

Get a new ignition harness. Its like $80 or so from mazda. Once those wires de-pin they will always come out easily.

Rich if you look at the picture the connector is on the ISC, on the back of the UIM, he was asking whether the wires going to it matters what part of the connector goes to. Prelude youe best bet is to find a junked harness where people are parting out the connectors and go from there. I think it is a PAIN in da **** to get the wires through the connector..Get a new connector with some wire and just solder everything up

that was going to be my second question ...if anyone had any tricks to re-pin ....i was going to see what i could do to fix it first, i've already thought about buying the harness....
here's another pic...(its the isc)

also with this not connected, it would be the cause of my idle creeping when my headlights are on, and my car idling at 1500???? correct???

had more problems with the plug wires coming out again....

had the UIM off and cut the plug from the harness...

added 2 inch of wire to both...solder the wire and got the plug to repin again...
used a little glue to hold the wires to the plug head this time...

started the car and worked out great..
installed pfc and it learned the idle perfect...cars running good...

thanks again
