Looks awesome. I plead ignorance - who is James? I think I need to have this done to match the RE polished V Mount.

James is a friend of mine that was originally doing this in Tampa. Stumbled onto him at an automotive class here in town. He's reasonable and can even do better ! ! ! I rushed him on this one, just had to show it off. I'll post pictures when he does my Pettit cool charge II IC. Jack

He's done mine as well and does great work, a real perfectionist. Don't expect it overnight though. He charges almost nothing. I had him remove the solenoid mounting tabs.

Looks great Jack, I'm surprised it took you so long.

I just wanted to show off my UIM. I've had other threads on the parts for sale section of things he's done. If your interested in his work PM me and I'll give you details. I rather keep this thread for showing off as it's taken me three years to get any big parts done on my car. Thanks to James for all the complimanets. Jack

Looks fantastic, wonderful job. Do you mind me asking what grits of media and HP of buffing motor he is using/how many stages he's going through?

Damn, all these Intake manifolds look simply awesome. The shine is perfect. I might just have to get mine polished too.

He's quite open with his information, He's got a very large assortment of wheels pastes, and rouge blocks. He actually uses a hand held variable speed Millwaukee grinder.I'll take some notes down when I see him next week. He got started doing wheels and has a special machine he mounts them (wheeels) to so they rotate while he's working no them. I seriously considering getting him to do my wheels. Jack

Thank you! I've been doing some polishing and have a bunch of air grinder/sanders and grit sandpaper but haven't played too much with all the different pastes and rouges yet so I'm curious as to where I'm missing out and he's doing such a great job, not to mention practice practice

Couldn't get a good picture of the TB. But I had him take out that little square on the top.
