twins body swap???

This might be a stupid question but I am going to ask anyway since it doesn’t seem impossible.

I would like to know if anyone has ever attempted to swap the primary turbo body and replaced it for a secondary turbo body.

I have 2 sets of twins that the primary turbos are leaking, so I wanted to see if its possible to make one good turbo out of 2. this is just a question so all you smart asses out there give me a brake

^^^ They are THE SAME

Understand the orientation of them before you unbolt them where the CHRA meets the turbine housing - and install them back the same way or you might run into problems installing the Y pipe. The Y pipe rotates a little bit to give you some degree of adjustment but look at them carefully before you remove them.

Also, you have gone this far - port the wastegate.

^^ what he said

#1 thing to remember is to make sure you properly align everything, otherwise the oil & water lines might not line up.

^^^ The guy is going to have a working set or turbos and won't have to buy a thing.

You come off with a smarmy remark. I call it like I see it.
