Question Tweak-it idler pulley kit, how to buy?

Has the kit been discontinued?
I've tried tweak-it.net and http://www.tweakit.com/idler/single.pdf but only found the instructions. Yes, I know Crispy and David Hayes have them but no purchase information or links.

Tweakit.com does not have a store on their web site. Tweak-it.net does, but they do not list the kit http://www.tweakit.net/shop/index.php?cPath=326_27_178

If this kit isn't being sold anymore, there is still at least one other option which can be purchased thru Pineapple Racing. I haven't removed my air pump yet, but have been trying to find out what all my options are.

If it is being sold I'd like to know as well since I like it's design.

Pineapple kit does not work for me because my single turbo would be in the way... If anyone has any new or used kits to sell please let me know

Unless your single turbo is right up against the thermostat housing (which some are) you should not have a problem with the Pineapple idler. We use them all the time, mainly because they are easier to get. I have the tweak-it on my personal 20b car, bought it when they were easier to get in touch with.

Save yourself the headache. The pineapple will NOT work with your set up. My turbo is close like yours (aspec kit) and I had to return the pulley kit to pineapple. I got lucky and scored a tweakit one last year. If tou want to be extra certain pm me the distance from the comp. housing to the bottom of the filler neck. Your turbo sits about exactly where mine does. G

It seems like something that can be easily fabricated, off course for someone who knows how...

How can they stop making it?!

Will this kit work with aftermarket pulley's (instead of OEM)? I'm thinking i'm going to have to buy a another spacer to insert inside the pulley. If the pulley rotates clockwise it keeps tightening until it stops. Wait, was it supposed to come with the pulley in the picture?

Easy.... most who support or "limited production" cars are small-time mom and pop style operators who do this as a "hobby" and at a service to our community. Over time, they either move on or lose interest based on current demand. Unfortunately the FD is more than 20 years old, so volume on these custom parts is oftentimes next to nothing.

Good luck finding one brand new. Last I heard Chadwick was looking for new manufacturer to have these build. I gave up in the end decided to run without an idler pulley. I have friends who have been running with no idler pulley for a long time with no problems.

I found the pulley. It was vacuum sealed in the bubble wrap. It's possible the rubber center section will get destroyed from heat over time and/or just wear out like the bearings we have to replace. It's a very nice piece. It may just needs a jim lab bushing material for the pulley instead of the rubber section.
