I had this problem once. It was driving me nuts because I couldn't find out what was going on. I finally figured out I just had a loose coupler at the bottom of my intercooler. DUOHHHH!!!!

Anywho it oculd be as simple as that. Check all your couplers for tears or just being loose. Hopefully it's that simple!

goodluck,
josh

It can be many problems causing this. But leaks are very common and very easy to overlook.

But go back in and remove the rubber coupler from the car, and turn it inside-out. Do that for the 2 couplers on the crossover pipe. You are looking for any small crack that goes through the rubber. If those are ok, then remove the elbow at the bottom of the intercooler and the one going to the intake elbow. Remove the metal shield and inspect it thoroughly again, looking for cracks or possible leaks.

It is prob just a boost leak. This sounds corny i know but it worked for me, do you have a shop vac that blows or a leaf blower, take the hose off the throttlebody elbow and tape it on and blow air into it and feel around the turbo hoses for a boost leak.I searched mine forever the first time and could not see any cracks or anything so i tried this.
