Turbo Timer

Could anyone advise me on which turbo timer is the best for an FD?

I have a Blitz FATT th eone with boost gauge and boost recall, I think its an old model but the newer Blitz ones are small and easy to mount out of the way. My buddy has an HKS one I think there is no great difference in fitting difficulty ,its just that some have other features like volt meters etc.

If you want, you could just get a pager alarm installed and it has the options of the remote start and Turbo timer. That way after driving you can press a button, remove the key and lock the car, and the car will idle for whatever amount of time you have it set for 2, 4, 6, 10 minutes. This way you have a wicked pager alarm, remoter starter, and turbo timer, plus many more options. I have it on my FD, and I have no complaints, but thats just my 2 cents.

I figured I'd see a bunch of "SEARCH NEWBIE!!!" but this is the guy with access to a Ferrari, so everyone is being nice to him. Which makes me wonder: Ferrari > *****?

Anyway, do a search and you'll find a lot of past discussion on turbo times. In a nutshell, if you give the car a couple of minutes of no boost (can be the last couple minutes of your drive), the timer is of no particular benefit. IMO, money is much better spent on other things first.

There are more benefits in using the money elsewhere

I always enjoy taking the time to cool down my car myself so i make sure i leave a few mins early if i am taking the RX-7 out. If you are a bit in a hurry most the time it may benifit you to have a turbo timer

Well, if you're in a hurry, wouldn't that be a good reason to take the RX-7?

Anything BUT Greddy, they are trash! I've known of four Greddy TT's that just died including mine. Maybe the newer one are better though.
