Due do the amount of heat in that location. Malloy Mazda or MazdaComp will be the cheapest for a 'new' gasket.

Are you missing one? Those don't tear up easily and usually only require some cleaning with a stiff brush.

If the dp flange is good and flat, you'll be fine.

If you get leaking, I would just break down and buy all new studs, nuts, and gasket.

I am also about to install my DP. Do I need to prep the gasket with anything? Or do I just bolt it on with the dp. I also spent 100$ on my gasket, did i spend too much?

No need to prep the gasket. Clean both the DP and the header, and don't overtighten.

The gasket is a sandwich design so its meant to flex with the heat & cold cycles. Same goes for the gasket at the end of the DP that meets the cat/mid-pipe.

In fact, I'd get a new gasket for the cat/mid-pipe.

I believe it was ~$77 from Malloy a couple years ago. $100 seems about right for a new one now.
