Turbo control solenoid E

Just want to confirm that the turbo solenoid E solenoid should NOT have pressure on it when car is off. Car has been off for a week or so and went to replace and remove the remainder of solenoids in the rack and when un plugging it had pressure. I am having a primary turbo issue and believe it to be the culprit.

Yes it should have pressure from the pressure tank, the fact it has held pressure for a week is a good thing.

Damn. I was hoping it was the other way around. Thanks for the quick response. I thought I figured out the whole diagram. It makes sense if it is hooked up to the tank.
I am simplified sequential and so far just about everything checks out perfect. I will wait and see how it works out when I replace the charge control solenoid. The CRV checks good..

*****Wait though, should it have pressure on the actuator side? That's the 1st hose I pulled.

When not energised it shouldn't have pressure on the actuator side as the nipple that points up (This one goes to the actuator) should be connected to the dump port with the filter on. The solenoid may have failed, test it using this guide to confirm it is working as it should be.

If you removed the nipple facing to the drivers side of your car it should hiss and release pressure as this is the connection to the pressure tank.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I believe I had pressure on the actuator side. I replaced with new,, but will check the used to confirm it failed.
