trying to eliminate heat, help? suggestions?

hey guys

i have a greddy stock mount I/C, hks Intake RS reloaded and the fans from underneath send hot air alll the time.

any suggestions on how to eliminate that hot air between the radiator and the intercooler?

i bought damians heat shield aswell to cover up the intake.

not much you can really do assuming you have all the shrouds in place. not without relocating things which youll need different parts for. you could use a water sprayer which will work pretty good but that you have to add.

It is normal. The fans are extracting heat from the radiator.

Just make sure your intercooler is well ducted and it will be more than enough.

with the i/c came a piece that bolts on the i/c duct and on the brace of the car. its plastic/elastic to prevent the heat going to the i/c. what if i get a longer piece to cover all the radiator area ?

I beleive the Greddy SMIC re-uses the stock duct.

Idealy a custom duct. Or if your stock duct doesn't seal all the way around use something like window rubber seal and rivet that around the inside edge of the ic duct.

the stock duct is great, theres also this plastic u put underneath and does not let hot air to go on the cool fins
but on the sides its hot
