Exclamation Trying to authenticate Antenna assmebly

I just finished going through roughly 4 pages worth of thread trying to figure out if my Antenna motor is OEM or not. Basically my antenna mast broke (the plastic inside the antenna fell into the motor). Once I paritally took apart the trunk area to get the motor out I noticed it was just kinda hanging there and not mounted to anything. I think maybe the previous owner bought a generic antenna assembly and installed it or the mounting bracket for the motor is broken? If anyone has some upclose pictures of the OEM antenna motor and hopefully pictures of it installed properly I can better asses the situation on whether I need to replace the whole unit or what? I can take pictures and post later tonight if needed. Thanks for your time

I do NOT have any pics of the antenna mast, but I replaced mine about 8 years ago. IIRC, the plastic mast was white and had teeth on one side of it. It was a pretty simple replacement.

If you are looking to replace with OEM, call Ray at Malloy for the best prices.

thanks for the info...but what I am really trying to figure out is if the antenna motor in my car is the OEM one......mine doesnt have any mounting points (the motor just kinda hangs there) and would like to see some pictures of it mounted in the car so I know what is suppose to look like when I buy a used one.....or if I even needed one at all.

If it's an OEM part, the part number (FD01-66-xxxx) should be stamped on the plastic somewhere.
