Has a true HID kit been made for the pop-ups?
I saw the Knightsports one. Is that "true" HID?
If not pop-ups, then what other kits are available?
I read a bunch of threads and found no great answer.

About half way down Knightsports shows 2 different HID kits. One for the original light housing, and one thats an actual light kit, with 2 light housing on each side vise 1

It might not be a bad idea though, I kept forgetting about these things. I need to move them to where I'll see them everyday and be forced to work on them again.

I can't stand the current headlights. I might as well be driving with them off! Regarding the Knightsports....
Right, but are those actually HID's or just knockoffs? The price would seem to indicate that they're actual HID's, but I'd like to be sure.
ooooh I love the knightsports kit. Are there cheaper alternatives in similiar styles tho? Seems like its $2000 for the whole deal with HIDs on the knightsports kit. That's a lot of scrilla just for some lights.

The 4-beam Knightsports HID kit is HID low beam and regular high beam which let's you do the "flash to pass" high beam blinking. I think the other one is both low & high HID but with the turn on delay I think you loose the flash to pass. Most of the kits loose the high beam, so that's the question to ask, rather then is it a true HID. Fake HID bulbs like my PIAA's are just brighter bulbs that are in the same light spectrum as HID but no where near as powerful ...just as clean a white, blue or purple (and they are only $75.00). I did not end up buying them. Here's my thread
HID KS are pretty nice.

do you have any more info on these suckers? I've been looking into them, and Gotham may start carrying them. We already sell the Phillips set up, and as soon as I get back I'm planning on giving them a try.
take care man,
Vincent
