Trouble w. EVC V HELP!

I just picked up my car today after having my 2nd Power FC put in and a harness for my HKS EVC V put in. I am making a 6-4-6 boost pattern, and no matter how much i turn the boost up on the boost controller, i cant get more then 6psi. i looked at the hoses for the FD adaptor for the EVC V, and they were all ran right, and it doesnt seem to be getting any more boost. Im pulling 20-21 for vaccuum, so im almost positive it cant be a line, and i let the car get adjusted to the FC map before boosting her. i dont know if i should just remove the EVC V all together and just run the factory 10psi, because 10 is clearly better then 6, but that would be a waste of $700, so im at a loss for decisions. HKS doesnt have any answers. i already sent the EVC computer back for service and they said it was fine and 'oh yea, you need a harness' thanks for telling me after i bought it. when i first installed it, i would boost up to 15, hold, shoot to 10, then slowly loose boost that was with boost set at 12psi. with the evc off, i would get a 9-7-9 pattern. crazy piece of machinary, i have no idea what to do, ive exhausted every attempt at fixing it.
Does anyone have a HKS EVC V on a Twin Turbo FD with the HKS FD Harnesses? if so, how did you get it to work?

I think you just have a plumbing problem. It's not hard to hook a boost controller up incorrectly and get low or no boost. If you can get some pics, that would help a lot.

Never heard of the FD adapter - what exactly is it?

Get some pics and descriptions of how it's plumbed in.

OK, I've been digging because you got my curiosity up .

As far as I can find, there is no special FD item for the EVC V. They do have a "twin turbo kit", which is just simply some more vacuum line and clamps. As far as I can find, the EVC V is just a plain vanilla boost controller. You should be able to hook it up like any boost controller for the FD.

my idea was a loose intercooler connection. there might be a leak and the gauge is running down stream of the leak. so the contoller is working and the gauge is working and the turbos are working but the leak is where the boost is lost and by the time it gets to the gauge sender it is at 6 psi. what do you think dale?

thanks dale and christian. no luck today with fixing it. im just gonna remove it either this tuesday or next week. i have the power fc, and i met a guy tonight who had one, and he gave me his numbers for 11 and 14psi, so ill see how that goes. dale, the evc rx-7 kit is just more lines and clamps, sorry to make you do the work
i cant wait to see the cars true potential, i havent seen it once in the three years i've owned it. that car is teaching me patience, so by the time i have my first kid, it couldnt possibly be worse then owning a rx-7
thanks again, guys.

I would put some effort into getting the boost controller running. The PowerFC has the world's simplest boost control, since it's based around the stock boost control setup. It also relies on the stock pills, and I actually had to drill a pill out to reduce creep with mine - playing with pills is NOT a boost control setup, IMHO. But, that's part of the problem with it using the stock boost control solenoids - they're just not that capable.

Describe how you have it plumbed in. I bet you have something not right there.

thanks a lot guys.
ill try to take a picture and put it up today. im gonna disconnect it because i think my second turbo isnt kicking in. if its disconnected and its still not boosting, then i at least know its not the evc. im gonna bring the car back to their shop on tuesday, so i can use their tools and garage to check it out.
