trouble starting when car is warm

My car has trouble starting only when the car is warm.
Any help would be appreciated

As mentioned, have the compression checked. If that checks out ok, you might check the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) solenoid (which is only used for hot starts).

Typically, difficult "hot starts" is one of the signs of low compression.

I know that when my coolant seals were gone, the car was difficult to start hot. However, cold starts were not a problem.

However, as mentioned above, there are other things that can cause problems hot starting *if* the compression is already in good specs.

do you have a FPR solenoid...that'd be cheaper to replace than the motor.
