tranny volume

changing the gear lube in my tranny and diff... how do i know when it's filled? anyone know how many quarts go in ? or a way to check ? 94 fd

Fluid will come out the filler holes when each component is full.

1 gallon is perfect for both the tranny and diff.

I used Neo 75W90 HD Oil.

Check the FSM. Be sure you're using the correct filler plug, and remove the filler plug before removing the drain plug.
