tranny mount broken?????

okay guys i need to find out what is broken. seems like driving around town my shifter bounces up a lot. not just a few CM's like it used to but i feel its atleast an inch or two. from a dead stop if i dont take off just right(taking off wrong would be a cali stop at a stop sign, rolling through...)i can actually feel my tranny??? hitting the bototm of the tranny tunnel. i think its the tranny. anyone have this happen. also, can someone include pictures that include PPF, tranny mounts, engine mounts. i cant find my manual on disk at the moment. i did install a tq strut brace a few months back. didnt start feeling this action till about a month ago.

The tranny bolts up to the bell housing on the engine side and then the PPF on the other side. So the problem could either be from engine mounts or a cracked PPF.

I would inspect the PPF first, as it's the easiest once you get the car up in the air (either using a lift or jack stands). Just check along the welds of the PPF for cracks.

PPF, ill check that out. could be the hopping im getting from my drag racing at sacramento. more **** to replace. im gonna weld the **** out of it if its the PPF. my buddy is a killer welder. anyone reinforce the PPF(stock). what methods should be used

Nope, sorry, I haven't run across any pictures of a re-welded PPF. Personally, I would use the opprotunity to install an upgraded PPF.

However, I imagine that any shop or person who knows how to weld can repair it for you without any problems.

They are steel , the stock black ones are repairable. The red one are made the same shape and size , thickness but they are a made from a stronger grade of steel. Cost was around $350 several years ago .
