Hello everyone, I have a 1997 RHD FD, I recently bought three months ago and ran into the 3000k rpm problem and decided to check my TPS and noticed that the tps top value for the green/red wire is 5.02 which is only halfway through opening the throttle and doesn't read WOT, the other values are in spec and with the black/green wire is does reach WOT, is this something i should be concerned with? any help is greatly appreciated and thanks.

5v on the red/green wire is within spec for WOT on the TPS.
I went over the problem again, and it seems that when I press my gas pedal more than half way my car just looses power and will start choking regarding of rpm’s, but it is quite difficult to get more than 60 kmh, so I am thinking the problem lies with my tps

Sounds like your car is in limp mode. You need to use the diagnostic port to pull codes.
If the TPS voltages at WOT and closed throttle are within spec of the link I sent prior, it's probably not a tps issue. https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...p-mode-784617/
So tried to readjust my tps again, but on the green/red wire is maxed out with the throttle plate halfway open at 5.03 and cannot adjust without having the lower reading out of spec, but with the other wire is completely fine I also tried to read the codes on my car but realized that I don’t have a cel and I need to get an led light to see if there any codes, but I still think my tps is the primary suspect
”Update”
I tried to use the LED method but couldn’t really get anything, it will either stay on or have a constant blink which didn’t give me any clues, I might be doing it wrong but I’m gonna go and have someone with more experience check it for me.
thanks for the help

Looks like you have a bad TPS or high resistance in the circuit somewhere. Unfortunately the TPS is an NLA part and hard to come by used ones. May need to take off the TPS and take it to someone with an electronics test bench to be able to get a definitive answer if your TPS is bad or if your wiring is bad
Be very careful taking off the TPS as the phillips head screws are seized on every car and are extremely difficult to take out without stripping.
Is it really phillips, or is it a Japanese near-equivalent? (A phillips screwdriver won't seat properly in a JIS screw.)
No, it is a JIS screw. I used phillips head loosely. This is what I used to remove mine. Had to hammer away at this JIS impact screwdriver for a good 15 minutes before it came loose.

the Rx7's use a dual TPS unit, there is a narrow range and a full range, the narrow range is supposed to be 5v at about 30% throttle.
see the page from the Service Highlights book
This doesn't sound completely like a tps issue. Post a video of what you're doing so we can see what's happening. A lot is lost on a text description. This could also very well be a fueling issue. You will get the exact same issue with a low fuel pressure condition. The 3k hesitation thay you think you have is not what's happening here. That's a separate issues with a different set of symptoms.
Also, you don't need a screwdriver at all to remove the screws on the tps. Don't waste your time doing that. You can use a channel lock or a vice grip on the head of the screw and turn. It WILL break free and then you can just spin it out with your fingers. Then you'll replace the screws with Allen heads. They are M5 I believe.
I don’t have a video of the car but since I live in Japan I was able to get the new tps they sell over here and will be trying to put on and is entirely different
it does come with everything to put it on the car, wiring, gaskets and the rest of it
