tow hooks?

I have always wondered where the tow points are on the FD. I can't find a single hook anywhere. Anyone ever had to get their car towed?

Those are NOT tow-hooks and bad things can happen if you use them as such. Those three hooks are hold-down points for when the car was shipped over here and moved around.

Look buddy, I don't know if this is some kind of a put down or something, but if it is then this is exactly the kind of **** we do not need around here. I asked a legitimate question so that if I was ever stranded and in need of a tow, I could tell the driver where the correct tow points are so he doesn't mess up my car. In the future may I suggest not posting smart-assed responses to pertinent questions. Also, it would help if you knew what you were talking about rather than feeding people misinformation. If I am completely wrong about this whole thing, then I apologize for jumping the gun. BTW, I don't have a damn body kit, nor do I have any graphics or other rice boy paraphanalia on my car.

ahhh so thats what those are. what might happen if one did tow using those points anyways? (has anybody tried) they are attached to the frame so the worst i can think of is just possibly ripping the bolts out of the frame.

I'm almost afraid to post anything on this thread..
You need to calm down man!
My FD had a very solid tow hook in the front, but I had to remove it when I installed my FMIC.
I once used one of the two tie-down hooks at the rear to pull the car out of the sand at a track event, worked well.

I've had 13 FDs and have worked on at least 10 others, I've only seen one of them with the factory tie downs in the rear. I don't know why the rear hooks seem to be gone on all the cars I look at.

Im sorry man, I totally took it the wrong way. I usually don't get so bent out of shape over these kind of things, but I was already in a bad mood at the time.
