Can anybody tell me what the fastest top 10 rx7 is? also include pictures/specs/time if possible?

 

Better yet, why don't u guys list the specs and then we can determind who has the fastest rx7 and who has the most hps on this site.

 

Adam Saruwatari's RX7's was fast as ****, it ran 9's i think it was the fastest in the world (at one point)

 

Adams car is pretty slow. It took a sequential tranny to make it run 9s, otherwise it was running mid 10s (10.18 best).

Abels FD runs in the 7s or 8s and Rays hunk-o-junk FD runs mid 8s. As far as fast FDs on this site, there is a guy that posted pics of his drag car that is supposed to go 8.50s. I know Pluto runs 10.20s on slicks and high 10s on DRs.

Other than that, there are quite a few members in the 11s.

RX7.com has a list of the top times in the world for rotaries and lists what year car it is.

Adam's Car had a stock unibody - as does Ray's, Abel's car has a full Tube Frame (Funny Car) - any stock bodied car that runs 10's or better is FAST - RP's & SR's 9sec cars are wicked fast

 

Adams FD went 8.9X before he retired it.

 

Dee at Reactive Racing is running mid 7's .

 

Yes, that's awesome but we're not talking about back-halved or tube chassis cars

 

Sure there are faster FDs but Adam was running "slow" times long ago when it was considered more impressive.

 

Break it down. Are you just talking fastest "street class" FD's? If so, Ari has ran a 9.01@152mph.
Ray Wilson ran a 9.65 @145mph....
Steve Kan has ran a 10.20
and a boat load of FD's have run 9's and 10's in Austrailia.

 

Yes, I think it was meant to ask about street class FD's. Saruwatari went 8.9X back in 99-00 before he retired it.
