There are tall guys on this forum who drive these cars. You will want to look for a car without a sun roof. The R1 or R2 models and some base models came without them. Find one and sit in it to see if you like it.

you'll be fine in an r1, r2 or base (any model without a sunroof - touring models have sunroof)

You'll feel short if you add some aftermarket seats of which there are many to choose.

thus if you want a sunroof you'll probably have to change out the seats to something with a thinner bottom.

In my R1 i had racing seats which allowed enough room for a helmet and still a couple inches to spare and i'm 6'5".

I think that you would be fine in any model. There is alot of leg room in all models. If you slid the seat back, and tilt it back you would have more than enough room.

I'm 6'5", the first FD i ever drove had a sunroof but it wasn't too tight. When I bought one I went without the sunroof.

You should be okay in any model until you need to wear a helmet, in which case you will need to modify the seat and or get one without a sun roof. I'm somewhere between 6'3" and 6'4" and I fit in my touring (sunroof equipped) fine, as long as I don't wear a helmet that is. Good luck.

I am 6'7" mostly in the legs. I have a 93 touring with a roof. I fit just fine. It was really hard with my helmet at the track had to lean towards the pass. side..

Now finally a place where short guys rule. At a staggering 5 ft 5 inches, I fit in my car just fine. Plenty of head room.

The taller you are the less chance you will have of having an proper seating position without changing the pedal alignment and steering extension (this is AFTER clearing headroom).

If your elbows are under 30 degrees at the bend you're sacrificing car control.

When i first sat in my 7 i could not believe how tight it was. No tilt steering, and no seat height adjustment. Its deceiving because once you slide your legs under the steering wheel (I slid in sideways) there is a lot or room to stretch your legs..guess it takes some getting used to. I'm 6'2 and i would highly doubt i could get a helmet on my head.. i also have a sunroof..
