TKT Intake Instructions Help

These intakes were installed when i purchased the car from the previous owner and their is this piece that just goes to the ground instead of connecting somewhere.

I was wondering where it goes or if anyone had the instructions.

yes, you attach that to one of the hard pipes on the (pass.side) UIM**EDIT**or one on the air pump, I'm second guessing myself...but it does just route to the bottom of the engine bay and vent to ATM

that thing takes the "moo" out of the air pump...I'll see if I can find a picture.

Ok, but hey i vented my BOV. So can i run this hose to where the tube for the BOV went? And could i use black hose for it instead of this toilet hose junk?

It is for the moo hose. The black things are little "mufflers". You can replace the hose with black if you want.

If you vent the BOV, just plug the spot where it used to connect. The air pump lasts (much) longer if you feed it cool air.

So it is an intake tube, i thought it was a sort of dump for air.

It is not an intake tube. Excess air pumped by the air pump is dumped through that tube.

The tube in the picture is not related to the BOV. I mentioned the BOV and air pump intake (which are related with the TKT intake) since you asked about the BOV tube.

Here's an alternative -- replace the hose in the picture with a rubber cap that has some holes in it:

Sorry, I was only half paying attention. I'm in a boring computer class.

Of course you could do that, but there is no reason to do that, and at least one reason not to (might suck hot air into air pump).
