Time for a new Facia, dammit

Well after a long day of school I was looking forward to go cruising in my FD. I had given my dad the car before I left for school to get it registered. This is what I came back to.

yeah I know, I'm not sure what he hit. I think he cliped it on steep road. He offered to have it replaced but I don't want him to pay $1500 + painting for a 99 front end conversion.

I'll see if it can be repaired, if not then I'm thinking I'll just replace it with the PFS front end unless you guys have another suggestion.

Definitely. The good thing about the stock bumpers or the '99 front-end is that the lips are really just add-ons that are very stretchy and can take a lot of abuse before showing any signs of wear (my lip is perfectly fine and new-almost but did do some minor scuffing when first got car...not used to low-ness). So if the lip ever gets damaged again (good luck "breaking" a lip), you can remove it and replace it for a mere $180 anywhere....plus, it looks nice too!

Whatever route you take, it'll like like new soon. Good luck!

fix it

dude, that is a minor hit. i repaired my old pfs front fascia that had a chunk missing and a broken mounting flange. a good shop would probably charge around $200-$300 for fiberglass repair and paint

Yeah, fiberglass is pretty easy and cheap to repair, just take it to a good shop and see what they say.

Plus the PFS front is rare and awesome, so keep it!
