Tightening torque???

Does anybody know what the tightning torque for the flywheel to counterweight is??

For my S5 TII's lightweight flywheel to counterweight it was around 40 ft/lbs, IIRC.

Duno if that will help you, being an FD guy... but I'd check the FSM

Yeah, I checked the fsm and couldn't find it. I have an online downloaded one. I was told around 75 ft/lbs or as tight as I can get it.

bolt tork

the tork is set buy the bolt maker. it is about 75% of the of the bolts strengh. so who made the bolts

WARNING ^^^ i looked that up from K-157.. think thats for something else. i should have been more careful, i snapped a grade 8.8 bolt using those numbers. then came back to double check.

im going with 40 ft-lbs, which is within the range for M10 8.8.. referenced from TD-17 as recommened by Gadd.

80 ft-lbs is way too much.

I recently installed an Exedy carbon twin disc on a customer's car (which uses the stock cw and hardware) and it called for ~35 ft-lbs IIRC.

badddrx7 it was a mistake of the wrong page number "K-157". it has tightening #s for something else , yes please everyone read the manual
