Before Anglesey I degreased the entire intake system and intercooler and the surrounding areas so that I could see where things were leaking from at Anglesey from the oil surge forcing oil through to the primary inlet elbow.

Fortunately, I was a bit more on top of my surge issues by limiting myself to 3-4 laps at a time so whilst the catch can was still being overfilled, the engine oil level was never too low by the time I got back into the garage.

My catch can has a nice drain valve at the bottom and so I am thinking of running a drain hose from the catch can back into the sump, but can anyone tell me whether or not that is possible? If I tap the right side of the sump will the return line from the catch can be below the oil level or still above the level as I would want it to act like a vent for the right side of the motor as well?

So, oil filler neck to top bung which puts oil in the can below the baffles, and line from right side of sump up to drain valve on catch can. Second bung which is above the baffles remains plumbed into the primary turbo inlet elbow for expulsion of gases whilst retaining oil below the baffles and venting both sides of the motor.

Think a lot of people use the rear turbo drain when going single, but with the stock twins???

You may also want a heat sleeve for your OCC suction line. While it's for the most part away from the turbos, that area gets hot and the last thing you want is oil dripping on your turbos/DP
