Im interested to know what other people with single turbos on stock ports are running boost wise (when supporting mods are there) and what kind of power they are getting out of it?
heres my dyno graph on stock ports @ 12psi..turbo is a BW S300.
I don't have a boost controller installed (graph is straight off wastegate springs), so in theory could make more power with he same PSI by holding the boost higher in the RPM range with a boost controller, or just plain upping the boost. (twin gates are too efficient at controlling boost!)

thanks for the info very helpful, what upgrades fuel system wise do you have done?
I'm running a PT6266 at 15 PSI on a stock port motor on E85. The motor currently has 51k miles on it and has never been pulled out of the car or rebuilt. I don't have any dyno numbers yet but hope to soon! My complete setup can be seen in my signature.
Im running a 60 mil .84 a/r t04e and i never got a duct do you happen to know the best place where i could get one?
THe stock duct would at least help. I would get a decent intercooler asap and also add water/meth injection. Your intake temps will shoot through the roof after a couple pulls.

If i get a duct wont i be fine? My intercooler seems to be pretty good
The missing Duct was the first thing I noticed also.
You can make your own duct for that intercooler you have. It doesnt have to be fancy but an intercooler isn't doing its job if air is allowed to roll around it instead of being forced thru it.
You can make plenty of power on a stock ported motor that has the fuel and tuning for it.
You should consult with one of the Vendors on the forum here. Explain what your goals are and what your intended use of the set up will be for. You will get the answers and direction you seek as well as what type of $$ It's going to take to get you there.
Making big power can get expensive. Not just the parts to attain those goals but the likelihood of engine failure goes up exponentially. Everyone asks about the power potential but forget to take into consideration the risks.

Thanks for all the information, i actually just got done rebuilding the motor and breaking it in so its now getting tuned but i am keeping it conservitive for the time being but will be changing that eventually. Do you or does anybody else know good ways to make my own duct?

You can make them out of sheet metal, wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber and have even heard of people using cardboard in a pinch as a template and temp fix until they got theirs made.
The pipes you have made for that intercooler may be a little long. You may want a Greddy Elbow or use what you have with shorter pipes to move the intercooler away from the nose so you can get a duct in there. Have a look around at some engine bays and you will see what I mean. Here is one of my engine bay currently.

Well said. I had a friend of mine make 480-something hp on a stock port motor with a 6266 at 25 PSI.

Even better said! My same friend spent quite a bit of money on that setup and the motor eventually came off balance during a pull and destroyed itself, but he ran that thing wide open for nearly 2 years before it let go. The risk/reward balance you speak of is very very very real.

I am also running HKS TO4E A.R60 with 0.84 . I am running on 0.95 kg/cm2 . Supporting mods are Greddy LS FMIC ,Koyorad NFLO , Greddy elbow , HKS racing wastegate , KG parts secondary rail with 1680 cc Bosch injectors , 355 L intank pump. Apexi power FC and Apexi AVC-R . Can't tell how much power she makes as she slipped on the dyno last time . Hope to get to do a power run on a different dyno in April. . But would guess she sits at 350-370 wheel horse power

Thats a very simmilar setup to what im running, how much boost are you running at?
- Stock ports
- HKS cast manifold
- Tial 44mm WG with 9 psi spring
- Garret t04e with a 57 trim / .86 A/R
- Modified CX racing dp, re routed wg into DP
- Tial BOV
- Blitz FMIC
- Koyo dual pass radiator
- Freshly cleaned OEM 850s in the primary
- Freshly cleaned OEM 850s in the secondaries
- Adaptronic plug and play ecu
- Made 301 HP at 12 psi
I did have an intake which is not pictured here.
Not huge numbers but very fun to drive on back roads.
