Question thoughts on full titanium exhaust?

well i'm looking at a couple of fd's that i am interested in buying i want an exhaust system for it when i get it. one of them has a after maket exhaust but cheap one..one of the rative..can out back..can you say crap? anyways i really wanna get a full titanium exhaust..but whats the sound like? i have only found 1 clip of the hks one. i need to decide on an exhaust.. i was looking at either jic titanium exhaust..re titanium, or greddy..what are your thoughts..i wanna a deeper sound but still keep the rotary sound..if that makes any sence..

also what do you do for a downpipe, do you just use a SS downpipe? and then go titanium from there?

i have used the search button for about that past 2 hours and no good clips to help me decide and most of the clips are dead now!

thanks

I would think that they would all sound very similar, but I may be wrong....downpipe wise they dont make a titanium downpipe only midpipe and catback so you have have to use a SS downpipe.

if you've got the money to throw around - by all means, go for it, but the cost:performance ratio is far from reality.

I've always thought of it as one of those things like carbon bonnets - a waste of money, unless you are in it for the aesthetics - as a handful of kgs ain't gonna mean ****

The HKS Ti exhaust is titanium only in the muffler, the 4" piping is stainless steel. The piping extends to where the catlytic converter would be and replaces it.

And there arent any Ti downpipes as of now.

If you do want a full Ti exhuast, i believe the Greddy has full Ti piping with cannister but is from the cat back. The JIC Ti exhuast also has Ti piping and cannister.

IMO, the JIC sounds the best, but they all pretty much sound the same.

Where is Mahjik when you need him? There are plenty of exhaust sounds already posted here.

If I were you ... I would go for the RB Duals... they are far more better quality and sound is real awsome... however if you want to be loud as hell and don't care what the girls say when you give them a ride... then go for the HKS Carbon Ti.... real throaty!!!
