For Those with the FlyRX7 center speaker gauge pod

I have the 60mm 4 gauge pod that i purchased a few years ago..

I'm trying to install my Defi BF gauges into the pod and they just don't fit

it's almost like the pods are eliptical/oval rather than perfectly round..

i'm afraid i'm gonna break something trying to squeeze them in :S

they just don't fit...

how are other ppl's fitments with this gauge pod?

I have the 52mm one and they fit perfect. Worst case you could dremel grind down a side a little to make it fit.

I have the three gauge 52mm and they slid in there with a little resistance but easy enough to get in without breaking anything.

Try a heat gun and soften the pod slightly, that may be another option over removing media and possible weakening the strength/ durability of the pod

I have the 60mm 3 gauge pod. It's been years since I initially installed it but I remember it was a "tight" fit...almost had to "twist and turn" to place the BF gauges into the pod. No problems or cracks.

I have the Apexi E.L. meters in the triple 60mm, I remember the gauges sliding in smoothly but not seating all the way in because of the wiring harness on one of them. I left them mounted a little bit out for uniformity. I know Frank aka Flyrx7 because he did my friend's single turbo and V-mount. I need to trim my pod for a GPS antenna wire to get it to sit flush on the dash. Normally I'm trying to get rid of the plastic look in the interior but the pod is a nice addition.
