Of course I realize, lol. It's not as if I'm going to get this all at once, I just want to be prepared and have a set list of mods to go off of. Although, just so you know I'm not full of ish, I have worked it all out. It'll cost me about (including the car) $70k-$75k. That's not including shipping and labor/installing of course. I'm just tryin' to see if there's anything I may be missing on that list or anything of that sort. Anyway, thanks for the responses so far.

Yep, a rebuilt/upgraded Automatic. Level Ten's upgrade kit says it's good for 750 hp / 650 tq, and then more if you use their hydrosystem and torque converter... Not sure if that's true or not, but I guess we'll find out soon enough? lol

Well while your spending that money i would just do a 5 speed swap. 70-75k seems a little high for all of that tough..

You plan on making this a show car??

Yes, I do. My friend and I are planning on getting the same exact car, and then we're gonna use them as show cars. Well, for me at least, I'm gonna drive the car on weekends too.

You might do some research about upgrading FD's using automatics. If you do rebuild/change the auto tranny, not sure if this will still apply, but something to think about:

There are very few ECU upgrades availble for the auto FD, or at least ones that allow you to keep the "Hold" feature, which most auto owners would die without.

Here is the breakdown of ECU's:

Wont work: Pettit, M2, and basically any other that reprograms the stock ECU

Will work but loose "Hold": PowerFC, Haltech, Wolf

Piggyback systems: EFI/PFS PMC, Apexi SAFC, basically anyother piggyback fuel system.

The best bet for Auto owners is the new AEM EMS, but it is still unavailable and unproven.

Hope this helps.

Then you don't need an efini y-pipe. The y-pipe is to connect the air flow from the twin turbos together before it reaches the intercooler.

Also, to change from 2MM seals to 3MM is an engine rebuild.

Thanks ttpowerd and everyone else... I don't really know much about FDs, so this is a learning process for me... I'll make sure to correct that stuff.

That's ok Mahjik, I never said you had to believe me. I'm merely trying to get a feel for what I can and can't do to the car, and I'm trying to get a list together of what I plan on doing to it. Why am I daydreaming? Because the list is so long? I never said I'd be doing all of this stuff at the same time. I'm not a complete madman, lol. Thanks for all the help from everyone so far, though. Keep the comments, ideas, etc. coming.

heh, do you know how often people pop in here posting a proposed mod list for a car that they don't even own?

It's not like modifying some piston engine. But, looking at your profile, you have a Firebird yet you are posting a mod list that will cost the amount of 4+ Firebirds.

Spend some time read some of the information sites:

Mahjik, I do realize that. That's the same way on all message boards. I never said you had to believe me, I'm just trying to get advice. Thanks for the link though.

Oh, and regarding the Firebird comment. So? My firebird cost me $20k. A '93 Automatic FD'll cost me about $15k at most. Like I said before, I'm *not* doing all of this stuff at once, I'll be doing it over time. The reason I'm wanting an FD is, not so it can become my daily driver, but I'd like to have a nice car for the weekends, taking to car shows, etc. I'll still be keeping the Firebird as my daily driver. Pretty much all I've done to my Firebird is adding a FlowMaster dual exhaust setup. I don't plan on adding anything more to it. Well, enough of my ramblings... lol.
