are these supposed to be here?

my friend currently doesnt have the internet so im posting this up for him. he has staples in his wheel well and is not sure if their supposed to be there so i'll post some pics.

Yeah, I see those same staples on my car. That either means they're supposed to be there, or it's a well-known mod that lots of FD owners have done.

Those staples hold the duct on that goes over the inner fender from the oil coolers to the vent in front of the door.

well he doesnt know the title of his car so it could have been in a accident and put together cheap.i mean come on mazda could have done better
