Just wanted to say that this forum has been a big help for me. For about 6 months ago i almost didnt know anything about an FD but because of this forum i have learned alot.

I have also gotten very confused by this forum cause there are many people who post what they only think they know.

So my advice to those who are beginners is that dont listen to what everyone says here until u have gotten some knowledge from an expert that u can trust.

Apart from that this forum is great.

 

word to that. I was on here for about a year without posting, just reading. Finally registered in January and got my FD in May. Also did some research on my own for a good year before that. I really can't stand these people posting stupid questions like "is it really reliable" Damn do at least SOME research of your own before you come on herel.

 

I can only echo the sentiments .. have had an FD for six months now and get a huge amount from the forum.

Your list is pretty impressive considering that you havent had the car for long.

I pay 125$ per month just for insurance

 

thanks, and most was from the previous owner. I've only added on to what he had done. Most of my money has gone into keeping it running properly though. Believe me I know, I want to do so much more to my car but don't have the funds to do it.

 

i've been lucky with my car. it has 7700 km on it and it has been stock all the time. An old man had it and only drove it slow.

 

You should feel very lucky that you pay only $125 for insurance. I was paying $225 when I first got mine, now after 2 years I am down to about $165. I would love to pay $125 a month just for insurance.

 

Both of you guys are paying way too much for insurance. Lay off the speeding tickets, or grow a little chest hair!

I do agree that the forum is a great resource. I just hope that I'm not one of the BS contributors.
