Technical questions about boost control
I have a 1994. I modified my stock intake and now get 1 extra lb boost. Next week I will have a downpipe installed. I want to control the boost so 10 PSI is the most I can get. I have read extensivly about the home depot boost controller, etc searching this forum. I am not interested to have more than 10PSI at this time. I am concerned because I have read that its EASY to blow your motor during tuning by turning the valve too far. All I want is 10 PSI on my motor until I get a new ECU at a later date.
with that said is there a size of hose to replace the two hoses going to the the wastegate and to the precontrol that will keep it at 10 MAX? without the need of a valve?
Anyhelp will be appreciated, thanks.

Buy a boost controller and get it over with. The brass valve trick I 've read is pretty foolproof . Just tap the line and tighten the **** to adjust boost. I don't think your in any serious danger of popping your motor from 11-12 psi.
