Tan Interior - Need's Freshening
Hey,
Anybody with the tan interior ever done anything to re-surface the interior door panels?
Mine look the original ower cleaned so much that they took some of the color right off. I'm wondering if there's any SEM paint that would match. I'm afraid, however, that I'd have to paint all the interior plastics to get it to match.
Any ideas or successes?
Thanks,

Freddie, a professional bodyworks man, simply used automotive paint and resprayed his tan interior w/ black paint. I couldn't gouge the paint off. Ya'd never guess those door panels were ever tan. He painted and clearcoated the gauge pod and the trim pieces on the console and doors. Very impressive. Waitin' to do mine next. I'd post photos.........but don't know how.

I haven't taken any yet....
....we just recently finished all the hard stuff and still have yet to get some of the little interior stuff. I'll try to shoot some good pics this afternoon and get 'em posted this evening. Here's one of the water pump. All the big stuff under the hood got bead blasted and painted and even clearcoated. The unusual liquid intercooler (fabricated from a T-bird SC) is polished and it has its own radiator. Yeah, I know I'm teasing yall, but we'll get some pics very soon.

Wow, the instrument panel looks great. The clearcoat really makes it. Looking forward to seeing a shot of it back in the cockpit.
However, on the tan panels, I am wanting to keep them tan, so if anyone has any insight on dying them or whatever, please throw in your 2 cents worth.
