I'm reading....

Take the dash out, seats out, center console out, interior 1/4 panels out along with the bins.

The dash isn't really too bad. Undo the two bolts that hold the steering column to the dash, IIRC the steering wheel can stay on if you have someone to help you get the dash out. There are 2 bolts on either end of the dash, remove dash caps, remove bolts. Either side of the center console has two bolts, there are little "inspection panels" that cover them. Undo the E-brake handle from the body, 3 bolts hold it to the floor. Leave brake handle hanging. 1 bolt in the top center of dash, remove it.

You can leave the radio, instrument cluster, glove box, etc all on the dash. There will be 3-4 big electrical plugs to undo once the dash is loose from the body. Also you'll need to unplug the antenna leads on the right side of the tunnel.

Any questions?

Jeff

i'm kinda tempted to do that now because I just noticed that the guy I got it from cut out the carpet and maybe it would be good to have the extra sound proofing... at least I know how to take the dash out now

ejmack, can you send us pictures?

Also #rdgenrx7, can you also when you finish? And maybe even take some now with the dash out, I would be interested to see what it looks like with the dash out. I plan to do this one day.

Thanks,
Joseph
