so will conventional oil. . . ANYTHING WILL COVER YOUR O2 SENSOR. . . . but it is made out of platinum and gets VERY hot!!!! most everything burns off of an o2 sensor. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH SYNTHETIC. you guys are working too hard to say that there is something wrong with it.

Of the shops I've had work done to my car at, only one has told me not to use synthetic - Mazdatrix. Pineapple, and Tripoint (with a few smaller shops) have all reccomended using synthetic.

mazda competition recommands straight 30 weight oil for the first 500miles of the break in period.

another corner heard from

My '95 has run nothing but Mobile 1 since the day it was new. Now I've got ~78K on the engine; and it has been raced or autocrossed it's whole life-- and used as a daily driver for at least the last three years (excluding winter).
