Hi everyone,

Currently running stock twins, intake, DP, resonated MP, cat-back, & Power FC with a base map for these mods from SR Motorsports (circa 2010). Tired of the stink and ready to swap out the MP for a Bonez high flow cat. Is there a significant enough difference between the MP and Bonez that I should have the Power FC retuned, and if so, any recommendations on who I can send it to with SR Motorsports no longer around? Banzai is the closest tuner to me and I plan to get down there next year for a custom tune, but don't want to wait that long to swap out the MP.

 

Should be fine in my experience. Get the cat in there and then head down to Banzai for the tuning at your leisure.

 

in theory adding restriction = less air flow, which will make it richer, as fuel won't change

a retune will help a lot though
