sway bar end links - not sealed?
got a tri point sway bar set and the end links are not sealed, should I get some of the seals from bakerprecision:
http://www.bakerprecision.com/rodacc.htm
and put them on for the same proncipal they are put on the toe links...to prevent premature wear from road grit/grim.

by the way, anyone else have this kit with the balck spacers you see int eh pic above? they seem like plastic!!! are they coated metal? or are they only placeholders?
damian,
my car is at the shop so I can't look under the car...
I think those spacers where there but i can't be sure. DamonB is under his car alot and probably remembers...though he might be a bit hung over today
I think the seals are a great idea as Damon mentioned wear on his in an old thread in the suspension section...
Let me know the size so I can order a set also.

Damian, I can't see dust seals hurting anything. Seems like a good idea if you're driving on regular roads.
Regarding the spacers, my TP bar came with the conical spacers, but they were either aluminum or plated steel, not plastic. Maybe yours are anodized aluminum?

I am not sure how the seals are sized, but I would guess that it would be by the hole in the ball. Those rod ends are nowhere near 5/8" in bolt hole size. I think they are somewhere in the 3/8 - 7/16 - 1/2 range.

ohh crap, i may have ordered the wrong size then...
I guessed the size by taking the nut off my 5/8" harness eye bolt and fitting it on the endlink bolt, same size... so I matched the numbers wrong huh?

FWIW the Tripoint bar I have has (expensive) 3 piece teflon lined rod ends and they have lasted longer than 2 sets of aftermarket toe links. I have not bothered to seal them.
The conical washers are steel or aluminum. They are there to prevent the rod end body from binding as the suspension moves around.
