Sway Bar decision

Thinking about installing some sway bars for autocrossing, have been looking at Eibach's and Suspension Techniques. Any Pro's or Con's at to which one is better. Or is there a better choice?

Thanks in Advance,
Andre

Exclamation bigger sway bars

If you are just street then get the Racing Beat set. If you race track get RB rear and M2 front.
If you are show, get HKS (since they are slightly pricey but the purple looks cool).

I woudn't buy Suspension Technichs if they had a Playboy Bunny blowing me! "Total P.O.S."!!!

The Tripoint bar is adjustable. For autoxing I would go Tripoint, M2, Racing Beat in that order.

Got the Tripoint bar. Adjustable ends, adjustable (i.e., swapable) center bar. Nice construction. Works great at the track.

And one more key thing: when I ordered, they had it in stock and shipped it the same day (unlike another place with a similar bar that kept me waiting for months...)

Lots of info/pics here:

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/anti-sway_bars.html

see notes on mount cracking problem.

In my chart, the RB front is bigger than I show, as Mark V noted .... about 120% stiffer than stock (2.2X). IMO, way too stiff for anything but a smooth track. The Eibach's (PF) are no longer available. I did not include the HKS bars, with front about 70% (1.7X) stiffer IIRC ... neither F or R is adjustable.

I'd suggest the .188" thick TP or M2 front, and RB adjustable rear.

For more comfort, ADDCO front and Mazdaspeed adjustable rear, or mabe 93 oem rear.

Addco front should be available, ~ $110, special order, from JCWhitney.com, or summitracing.com.

Oh, I forgot about the rear bar. Got what I believe is an Eibach adjustable rear bar. Here adjustable means there are two holes in the bar ends, so you can pick one or the other on each side. It was the bar TriPoint recommended to go with the front bar.

Both bars came with urethane mount bushings. The front mounts had grease zerks preinstalled. I installed my own on the rear bar.

Appreciate all the info, what stiffener brackets did you choose to avoid cracking the stock mount.

For street I wouldn't even bother with a bar. If it's just for show, get whatever looks cool.
