swapping front harness?

Ok I'm ripping out my my 94 MT front harness so I can replace it. Now the question is can I replace it with a 94 AT harness or do I need to find a 93-95 MT harness?

Negative - you need a manual with a manual. The auto front harness has things like a dropping resistor connector and wires, etc, etc.

Not to mention that the auto ABS system is wired completely different to the manual loom as I found out when I changed the front loom from Auto to manual and found my ABS light was on due to the rear loom of the car being configured differently. Keep it manual or change the lot!! You will need every relay box etc to do the conversion unless they match up ie parts labeled FD100 will not interchange with parts labeled FD110.

So are the 93 harness the same as the 94 and 95 manual harness?

No, there are some slight differences between the harnesses depending on the year. You might want to call Alex at Gotham. I know he ran into this when swapping harnesses.

If you're not buying a new, $$$ harness, rewrap your current one. It's a PITA job, but you'll know the harness's condition. Can't say that about a used harness.
