Use a very small tie-wrap to hold the gasket to the return-line flange to get the line in place with the gasket lined up. Put in the fastener, cut the tie-wrap and then pull it out of the way and tighten everything up! I didn't pull my turbo's to replace the gaskets: there's not much room to get hands in there to hold the gaskets in place.
