Superpro Install

I am currently working on installing a set of Superpro bushings. I have managed to get all of the old bushings out and have begun installation of the new superpro bushings.

The front LCA has two bushings that need to be installed. The metal tube for one of these bushings is offset, meaning the hole drilled through it is not centered. I assume this is done for alignment purposes; however, there are already cam plates externally which are used to adjust alignment. How is this piece supposed to be installed?

Thanks!

I havent installed any of those yet on anyone's car but I believe they work in conjunction with the factory cam plates to give you a greater range of adjustment should you need it.

I figured they were something like that, does anyone know where they should be set in order to get a factory alignment?

I just installed mine. The tire shop I do my alignments at did the pressing for me and it confused them too. I figured I would be on the more negative end of the camber range so I rotated the bushings for that. I tried straight up or down on the eccentric sleeve and they wouldn't fit in the car. The offset sleeves are on the bottom in the front, so I rotated towards the outside of the car (for more negative camber). The rear offset sleeves are on the top, so I rotated them towards in the inside (for more negative camber). Worked out great. We got the car aligned just to where I wanted it.

In the end as long as the adjustment range in your setup can get you where you want to be, everything is fine.
