AtomicRex Performance Trigger Wheels

The latest development to come from the shop is a 36-1 tooth trigger wheel.

The new trigger wheel is designed to replace the existing 12 + 1 item that is required for the PFC or standard ecu.

If you are looking to upgrade to either a Motec, Haltech, DTA or even our own Gems ecu...this will allow you to run a single crank sensor as well as giving more mapping capabilities which is an advantage at the lower end of the rpm scale.

They are £110 + P&P

Are these not a good idea??

I would have thought that all of those people not running the Apexi ECU's these would have been a great addition.

Perhaps you'd get a larger demographic covered if you marketed these to people with CAS type front covers. This said, a package that included the wheel, a bracket, and a sensor that bolted up to said cover would make it all the more appealing.

For instance, I'm running my 20B with a CAS type cover and am looking to switch to a hall-effect/trigger wheel setup for the next incarnation. I'd be interested in the product I described, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

In any event, keep up the great work. You guys are pumping out great products all around.

Cheers for the feedback.....

My previous post wasn't meant to whinge....just thought it strange no one had an opinion

The wheels were designed to use the existing outer sensor position.

Thanks for the praise on the components we are producing. I will be releasing more photos of new components shortly. Don't want to put everything up straight away....I'd take over the entire page

Haltech doesn't have a 36-1 trigger setup for the rotary so no go there (let me rephrase that an E8/E11 and Sports can't). As to the benefit over a 24-2, based on what I have been told it will be negligible.

This needs to be done for the 2nd generation guys as Calculon mentioned. It would be advantageous to offer it with crank sensor too.
