Super AVC-R or Greddy PROFEC B??

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW
this question probably been asked a million times.
and YES i did do a search on the subject..
So all you **** ones, kiss my azzzzz....

Anyways..

Which should I go with???

AVC- R or Greddy Profec B???

So learning boost controllers like AVC-R
isn't good for our FD3S?? if so
why so many people use them????

Greddy profec b is really simple to use right?
Just Dial in Boost you want and thats it right?

AVC-r you gotta program and etc and etc right?

So whats better for the FD3S??
AVCR or Profec B????

I'm using the Profec B and its been relatively simple. Install was easy and dialing in boost is straightforward.

The Profec B is the best boost controller out there. All the other "more advanced" boost controllers are just a headache while the Profec B is simple and to the point. I have had both and I by far like the Profec B 10 times better.

I'm going with a Profec B because it works better with a Haltech

I have an AVC-R. I like it, but i don't have anything to compare it to. it works well enough for me. expect to spend some time tuning it though. i haven't tried the learn function yet (i've had it for over a year), but i have heard that it puts more boost spike in, rather than taking it out. hope my pointless rambling helps

I also have the AVC-R and don't have anything to compare it to. As I understand the Profec you don't just dial in the boost and you're done. Another guy I know with an FD is on his third boost contoller (the AVC-R) and he loves it compared to the Profec-B.

I haven't had mine long but the peak hold modes and record modes really make tuning much much easier.

The profec b will work just fine. But if you want a little flash and whistle then the AVC-R is what you want.

Oh yeah I got the profec b and it does its job. NO SPIKING WHAT SO EVER!...at least not yet.

Display screen that can read a number of things:
Boost, RPM, Injectory duty, solenoid duty, speed

All these can be shown analog, digital, or in graph mode. Peak hold for all and real time playback (up to 60 seconds)

Other features include temporary boost increase (you supply the button) adjustable for % increase and time, engine rpm specific boost control.
