Sunshade that fits the FD?

Figured when the car is out of the garage it would be nice to block the sun coming through the windshield. Normally I love the Covercraft custom sunshades, however I ordered for the FD and its wayyyy too tight. Tried to work through their customer service but they are worthless. Anyone have a good universal sun shade that fits well?

I bought one through weather tech and also had regrets because it was way too tight. I was thinking I would have been better off with covercraft. I am just sticking with mine. I would rather it be a bit tight than to leave exposed gaps. You could always cut it and then re-sew the edges.

Yup, my Covercraft is the bomb. Fits like a glove--- For my FDs, Prelude, CX-5, TSX, and even my old departed NB Miata. Odd you're having issues.

For all of my cars (5) including both FDs and a couple friends I bought these shades. They are an oem fit. It's perfectly cut for the windshield shape. They come with a lifetime warranty for when they wear out. They come in gold and silver. It rolls up instead of folding and has a super velcro strap on it. As far as I'm concerned, this is the last sun visor that I will ever buy. The world is a better place because these exist.

The seller is automotivestyle and has +21000 feedback.

Do you use the one pictured for a 90-93 Accord or do they offer a FD specific one?

I purchased a similar one by intro-tech on amazon that fits perfectly as well. About 37 bucks shipped.

Just an update: Got the high end intro-tech model off amazon, fits perfect! Feels just like the covercraft except different reflective material.

I don't know why I've had bad luck with the covercraft. First bought for my Audi & that fits amazing. So I bought for my R32, that fits less than ideal, but it does fit... The FD was just too tight, I eventually got it wedged in there but I felt like I had to bend the thing. Very cumbersome in the small interior. The intro-tech model leaves about 1/2 inch on the edges when installed & I think I prefer that... makes setting it up a whole heck of a lot easier.

When it comes to finding the right size for a sunshade, there are a few things you need to consider. First, you need to measure the area you want to cover. This will give you a good starting point for finding a sunshade that will be the right size. Next, you must think about how much sun you want to block. If you are looking for complete sun protection, you will need to find a large sunshade to cover the entire area. However, if you want to fit perfectly for your FD, I can recommend snapshades.com.au. There you can order a custom one!

Been using these guys for the last couple of cars, very happy with the product and made in USA: https://www.heatshieldstore.com/

I have a covercraft for my FD and it fits pretty well, snug. The only downside is that the cc sun shade is a bit bulky to maneuver in the small FD cabin, the roll-up styles are lighter and easier to stash. The bright/shiny silver barrier probably reflects more heat than the covercraft shade, also.
