......the coolant seal thing......

It is SO weird to have a car that you KNOW is dying, but at the same time can run so good.
I mean, it is not like having an apex seal blow or something else catastrophic to where the engine just flat doesn't run.....

I drove mine two days this week, had to add a little coolant both times....other than that.....you wouldn't know.

When my coolant seals where gone, I actually drove the car for about 6 months. Mainly because I had just bought the car and didn't know anything was wrong with it (that and Mazda kept telling me all RX-7's did that, sigh, live and learn).

If you are planning on just getting a reman, then it won't matter all that much how much more damage will be done to it. But if you are going to rebuild it, it might not be the best idea to keep driving on it. The less you have to replace, the more money you'll save on the rebuild.
