alright, so the mods on my car are Intake, Greddy SMIC, BOV, DP, and Exhaust. I have boost and water temp gauges.

here is the problem. Normally the car runs fine, but sometimes, i'll go WOT in any gear, and i'll only get like 3 or 4psi of boost. Usually, the first time i boost in the day is when this happens. I only start boosting after my water temps get above 160F. and I usually start from a red light or something so i have to go through all the gears. and i only get 3-4psi through all the gears. I also hear a strange blow off noise that sounds like its coming from underneath the car almost. Its a very strange sound, definitely not the normal Blow off sound and it doesnt even sound like its coming from the same place. After i drive for a couple of miles, and i get crappy boost and a strange blow off sound about 6 times, everything goes back to normal. 10psi, normal boost readings, normal blow off sound, back to normal and stays that way for the rest of the day.

I searched the forum and i didnt really find anything quite like what im experiencing. Pretty much all the threads say that the turbo control actuator (i think thats what is called) is whats the problem and that, that is usually what the problem is when you boost weird or slow.

Anyone have any advice thats more specific to the symptoms i tried to describe?

C'mon, anyone have any input on what could cause a 7 to only get 3psi of boost??

its weird because it goes back to normal after a few shifts... but theres still the period of time that i only get 3psi, it worries me.
