strange problem with 93 rx7
This weird problem started happening the other day... when I get to about 2500 rpm its like bogging down I'm not sure how to describe it besides that. But after that it runs fine. Any ideas guys?? Id appricate any help or suggestions... thanks. O and cars all stock.
I had an engine last me for 135,000 miles. It was fine till about 110,000 but after that I felt the same hesitation between 2500-3000 RPM. Turns out my coolant was leaking into my exhaust and had to replace my engine. Hope it's not the same for you
you dont need a "grounding kit"
All you have to do is find the grounds and clean them with sandpaper(even a tap and die to clean the threads where applicable) and add a layer of vaseline/dielectric grease to prevent corrosion.

There you go... just cover up the real problem rather than address it. You are going to have a good time maintaining this car..
Grounding kits don't replace, they are extra. The car obviously didn't roll off the showroom floor with the behavior you currently have... So instead of bolting on something which might mask the problem, do some actually work on the car and figure out what's really going on. If it's just your grounds, simply cleaning them will work. If that doesn't work, you have a different problem.
Yep, that one melts, most people also add one from the negative battery terminal to the body.
Hey an FD owner from Eureka, not many up there im sure! Did you buy the red one from the lot next to broadway cinemas? As others have said check the grounds, the firewll to uim can melt and has a crappy connector if its still original and the one on the bottom driver side of engine can become corroded faily easily.
This. That's what I had planed to do. Was just replace any corroded ones completley. And yea if that didn't work then yes naturaly I would figure I had a different problem.
